Icons can be useful for a lot of different reasons. They mitigate the complexities of our computers, simplify our virtual tool sets and are scattered (often pointlessly) all over the internet. So naturally I’ve been creating a set of useless icons that have no purpose. None whatsoever. Not on the web, not in an app, not on a map.
Take, for instance, the one-wheeled shopping cart. How are you going to push it around during your virtual shopping experience? You can’t. Try writing with a broken pencil. It’s impossible.
I’ll post more from this set as I create them. Not that it matters, though, they won’t help with anything.
